5 Easy Steps

Here’s a quick overview of how the program works. For more detailed information on the steps involved in the Every-Member-Get-A-Member Initiative, please refer to the items in the left-hand sidebar.

1. Create a member profile. Your username and password will be the same as they are when you visit the online Alumni Directory at http://Directory.CarolinaAlumni.org.

2. After signing in to your profile, search for Carolina Alumni and check their membership status. If they’re not currently a member (you’ll know by whether they have a gold or garnet icon next to their name), they are eligible for inclusion in this program.

3. Appeal to the alumni on your referral list by sending a personal e-mail through your profile. You can also visit the Download Center and print out or e-mail membership materials to them. Once they’re on your list, you have 30 days to recruit them as members and earn your Member Reward Points before they rejoin the pool of eligible prospects.

4. Encourage your favorite eligible non-members to join the Carolina Alumni Association, and check their membership status by visiting your member profile regularly. Whether they join online, over the phone or through the mail, your profile will be updated within three days thereafter. The points will be added to your profile automatically, but please remind your prospects to mention the campaign and your name when joining, nonetheless.

5. Redeem your Reward Points for a great selection of prizes. You can also save up your Member Reward Points to aim for an even bigger prize after you’ve become a pro at recruiting your favorite eligible non-members!
