Alumni Programs
Alumni Club Network
More than 40 alumni clubs, from San Diego to Philadelphia, host local events for Carolina alumni. Events include freshmen send-off parties, game viewing parties, networking socials and alumni receptions. A list of these clubs can be found online at the association’s website.
Richland/Lexington Counties Alumni Club
More than 50,000 alumni living in Richland and Lexington Counties are invited to participate in this club’s impressive calendar of events. In addition to the annual President’s Reception, hosted by Andrew and Mrs. Sorensen, the club hosts a night with the USC Symphony, Basketball Preview Party and various social events.
Young Alumni Council
This volunteer group is dedicated to hosting meaningful activities for graduates of the past 10 years. Columbia-area events include: the annual Young Alumni Golf Tournament, Fall Sports Preview Party, Wine Tasting, Martini Party and game viewing parties.
Black Alumni Council
Members of the Black Alumni Council serve the university by awarding the Richard T. Greener Scholarship to an incoming freshman each year and by hosting an annual homecoming jazz social and tailgate party.
Centurions
Carolina alumni over age 70, or having graduated more than 50 years ago, are invited to join fellow Centurions for an annual brunch and social hour.
Legacy Program
Children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews of association members enrolled in the Legacy Program receive birthday cards and gifts from Cocky through their 18th birthday.
